Patient Services SpecialistBonita Springs, FLDo Your Life's Best Work!As Patient Services Specialist, you will ensure a high level of patient service is provided including anticipating needs, maintaining patient service expectations, and reacting to feedback.
You are expected to maintain a professional service which meets patient needs.
What you'll do:
Customer ServiceoMonitoring and reacting to patient feedbackoMonitoring the flow of patients and directing as appropriateoAnswering and attending to all telephone calls in a timely manneroResponding to queries in accordance with the privacy policyoHaving a breadth of service knowledge to respond to patient queriesoProviding support to Physicians and other internal customers, as requiredoAssist with patient questions regarding billing and insurance paymentsoMaintenance and improvement of the patients' waiting roomoMaintaining the look and feel of both patient and employee-facing spaces, restocking supplies, and organizationoDealing with people traffic, by directing vendors and visitors as they come and ensuring compliance to sign in protocolsMaintaining the Integrity of Patient RecordsoScheduling Physician appointments with regard to availability & appropriate timeframesoUndertaking all actions to support a Physicians clinic visit, including ensuring the completeness of patient records prior to and subsequent to the visitoAdmitting and discharging patients, prior to and following, consultation, evaluation and follow-up appointmentsoRegistering new patients in a timely manner and ensuring the accuracy of personal and billing detailsoEnsuring all documentation and correspondence required for the consultations appointment is registeredoCreating referring doctor records as requiredoFollowing up on referralsoDocument managementYou are required to work co-operatively within a multidisciplinary team and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.
oAdhere to the policies and procedures as documented in the work instruction manual and as directedoContribute to team development through contributing in team huddles, participating in team problem solving, supporting Center Leads and Physicians with ad hoc tasks, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
