Yes there is actually an industry that sells very nice product in the lighting and fan category, and we are a part of it! We have three showrooms in Naples, Bonita Springs & Fort Myers and have an immediate opening in our Bonita Springs location for a Sales Associate.
The Sales Associate position requires someone with the following attributes and/or values (prior lighting experience not required, education and training will be provided to develop the knowledge base necessary for the job role):
Enjoys being part of and interacting with the Team (you will get to work with fellow sales associates, installers, warehouse/delivery and management).
This is a non-commissioned position allowing for optimal team work.
A focus on details because of the understanding that doing things right the first time is always easier than fixing later on! Willingness to learn new products, new processes and new selling techniques (i.
e.
a desire to improve) Familiarity with Microsoft based programs and possess a general comfort with computers.
Good appearance and self-presentation.
People skills! We offer our products and services to other people and we want someone comfortable doing so.
Energetic & upbeat work ethic.
Creative mind, enjoys fashion & has interest in home design.

Responsibilities:
Manage accounts which are mostly residential but some commercial (i.
e.
builders and designers) Sales, advising customers on selections.
You will be influential in guiding the customers to their selections.
Service before and after the sale, because you cannot have one without the other and stay in business.
Assist with merchandising, product visualization.
Start date:
Immediately Hours:
9-5, 40/week.
Some Saturdays, No evenings or Sundays.
Compensation/
Benefits:
90 day signing bonus (commensurate with experience).
Excellent starting rate, hourly
bonuses; complete benefits package.
