Summary:
Answer incoming calls with patients, physicians, hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation facilities resulting in customer care.
Assisting with the day-to-day needs of the office.
Responsibilities and Duties:
(Note:
Other Duties May Be Assigned) Initiate and maintain healthcare contacts by phone, fax and email.
Maintain daily contacts with hospitals, physicians staff and patients Maintain on-going communication with employees of Preferred Care to ensure needs of the community and health care staff is being met Answer incoming calls and triage accordingly Contact agency referrals to verify address, patient contact, etc.
Compile Start of Care Folders Issue medical supplies to filed clinicians and ensure adequate inventory Assist with meeting/orientation preparation Upload documents into EMR Compile hand delivery orders for Account Executives Other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Customer Service Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent organizational skills and detailed-oriented Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-directed and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision Education and/or
Experience:
One year of customer service Language Skills:
Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
Ability to communicate in other foreign languages is desirable.
Reasoning Ability:
Able to work under pressure and handle multi-task functions.
Must be able to deal effectively with people.
Must be self-motivated and resourceful.
