Shipping Clerk Needed
Mancan is currently looking for shipping clerk for a lighting warehouse in Bonita Springs.
Responsibilities & Authorities:
o All employees are responsible for working in accordance with quality management system documents and for suggesting changes, when applicable.
o All employees have the responsibility to ensure quality is maintained.
o All employees are responsible for only using calibrated measuring and monitoring devices when performing required inspections and tests, handling and storing measuring and monitoring devices in a way that maintains its accuracy and fitness for use.
o All employees are responsible for receiving training that is necessary for the effective implementation of their assigned responsibilities, and suggesting improvements and maintaining their work environment.
o All employees are responsible for acting in a safe manner and for obeying all company safety policies.
Major Duties & Activities Required by the Position:
o Perform hands-on parts packaging and shipping activities
o On a daily basis, communicate the status of jobs and coordinate shipping schedules with the Operations Manager
o Manage shipping order flow and shipping hot list to meet customer shipment dates
o Work closely with all other functional areas to maintain on-time shipments and expedite shipments when necessary
o Coordinate UPS, FEDEX, USPS, etc. pickups/deliveries
o Verify all shipping paperwork is accurate and complete
o Efficiently manage and perform the put away and picking of inventory
o Maintain accurate inventories through accurate inventory movement transactions, physical inventories, and cycle counts
o Coordinate with Inspection and Metal Finishing to ensure any potential quality and/or delivery issues are resolved
o Maintain the physical layout of the shipping area to provide efficient and effective packaging, storage, and shipping processes
o Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment and ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are consistently followed.
o Perform other duties as assigned by management.
