MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALISTfor Family Physician in North Naples/Bonita Springs. Professional experience required. CFPC/CPC certification preferred. Must have knowledge of medical terminology & diagnosis, coding & collections, and Electronic Medical Records. Full or part time.We are searching for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our family practice office!The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience billing, coding and collecting in a physician office setting; and have CPC and CFPC certifications. Candidate must possess great people skills, a professional phone demeanor, be dependable as well as a team player.The position requires you to work in a busy office type setting. You must be able to function in a team-oriented environment, display strong multi-tasking, efficiency, accuracy, and organizational skills. Experience with various billing software is a plus!Duties: Candidate will be responsible for posting charges and adjustments, submitting electronic and paper claims; Posting payments, managing accounts receivable; Contacting insurance companies; Making payment arrangements with patients and other claim related tasks.Office hours are 8:30-5, Mon - Fri. We will consider full-time or part-time candidates.
